On the 7th April Grime pays season 10 took 15 young creatives aged 16-19 to embark on an inspiring journey through the world of music, they explored everything from songwriting and beat production to live performance techniques. As part of the program the young people spent 2 days at Platoon who are owned by Apple and provide artist services, A&R, and music distribution for artists such as Rza, Lexie Liu,

Samthing Soweto and many more. The company focuses on discovering and developing emerging musical talent which was a great fit for the young creatives.

Over the 2 days they engaged in songwriting workshops where they were asked to Select two music genres and blend them together in a unique composition. On the 2nd day platoon curated a panel of industry experts who shared their experiences, insights, and advice, panelists included Claudia Arch (Streaming manager), Seun Adebayo (Business Affairs), Aziza Hassen (A&R), Johnathan Eddy (Marketing Manager), Linda Ayoola (Global head of music) and many more.
